Responsible Gaming / Age & Jurisdiction Policy

1. 18+ only and higher local age rules

AFFINEX is 18+ only. Where a country, state, province or other jurisdiction requires a higher legal age such as 21+, the higher local legal age applies. Applicants, agents and visitors must not participate if they do not meet the applicable legal age in their location.

2. Local law and market restrictions

Users must comply with laws applicable in their jurisdiction. AFFINEX does not represent that online casino participation, affiliate marketing or referral activity is lawful in every location. AFFINEX should maintain a counsel-approved restricted-jurisdiction list before public launch and should not encourage VPN use or bypassing regional restrictions.

3. Responsible-gambling principles

• Gambling should be treated as entertainment, not a guaranteed income source, investment or solution to financial problems.
• Never gamble with money needed for essential expenses.
• Do not chase losses. Set spending and time limits before playing.
• Take breaks and use self-exclusion, cooling-off or account-limit tools where appropriate.
• Seek support if gambling is causing stress, debt, relationship issues, work issues or loss of control.

4. Affiliate responsibility

• AFFINEX agents must not target minors, legally ineligible persons, self-excluded persons or vulnerable people where prohibited.
• Agents must not encourage irresponsible gambling, imply guaranteed winnings, describe gambling as an investment, present gambling as a solution to financial problems, misrepresent bonuses, use pressure tactics or conceal material risks.
• Agents are responsible for following advertising, consumer-protection, gambling, privacy and platform rules in every market they target.

5. Support resources

AFFINEX should publish market-appropriate responsible-gaming resources after legal review of target countries. Examples commonly used in Europe and internationally include BeGambleAware, GamCare, Gambling Therapy and national self-exclusion or regulator resources where applicable. Resource links should be tailored to the markets AFFINEX actually supports.

6. Launch risk checks

Before launch, AFFINEX should obtain advice on Cyprus operations, recruiting Cyprus-based affiliates, marketing to Cyprus residents, any alternate access URLs, intended target jurisdictions, operator licensing, affiliate or marketing licence requirements, social-media advertising rules, use of provider/payment logos, performance-based commissions, demo earnings displays and routing approved affiliates to the underlying platform.
